Southland College is the trading name for The Institute of Christian Tertiary Education which, together with the National Institute for Christian Education are members of the College of Christian Higher Education Inc. ( www.cche.edu.au ). It is through CCHE that the postgraduate courses are submitted for accreditation.  These include the MEd, MEd (PLT), Graduate Diploma of Education and BEd (Conversion).  Both Southland College and NICE act as teaching agents for CCHE degrees.

CCHE was incorporated on the fifth day of March 1996 under the Associations Incorporation Act in NSW (1984). The Certificate of Incorporation of Association was issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs, NSW on the fifth March 1996.

All CCHE's degree courses are accredited through the New South Wales Department of Education and Training. CCHE is listed on the public register on the NSW Higher Education website. This listing gives the details of the accreditation status of each of its courses.
