Bachelor of Education (Conversion)

The Bachelor of Education (Conversion) was accredited with the NSW Department of Education and Training from January 2001. This course replaces the previous Graduate Diploma in Educational studies course and is specifically designed for the teacher with a two or three year teaching qualification wanting to upgrade to a four year qualification.

To complete the BEd (Conv), six units must be studied including one core unit. Please note that from 2005 onwards students will be required to complete an additional two units.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Normal Admission:
A three-year qualification in education.

Special Entry:
A two-year qualification in education and substantial teaching experience or professional qualifications and experience.
